I have developed a model for simulating the hydromechanical behavior of landslide .
I assume a hypothetical landslide and I want to test my model sensitivity to a hypothetical extreme rainfall event.
Is an extreme precipitation event represented by a daily rain amount of 50 mm over three consecutive days is realistic in Canada and /or the US regions.
Please refer me to a refernce (if possible). Environment Canada website is not explicit enough about this matter

The probable maximum precipitation is "Theoretically, the greatest depth of precipitation for a given duration that is physically possible over a given size storm area at a particular geographical location at a certain time of the year." It is a very, very large amount of precipitation.
