Etabs and autocad

Is it really possible to import file from autocad to Etabs?
what are the conditions to ensure the accuracy of model?

Select the same units in which you saved the DXF.

Allocate the stories to layers in autocad, both plate elements (3DFaces) and beam, beam-columns (lines).

Then retouch within ETABs

you mean I should assign a unique layer for columns beams and slabs?
For slabs I should draw a rectangle or I should make a solid objects how about columns and beams a line would be ok?
Can I specify the cross section of columns in Autocad in a way that Etabs can utilize it?
