Speaking of the Badgers, I've just started a book, "Third Down and a War to Go", by Terry Frei, Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2007. It is the true story of the 1942 UW Badger football team, their trip to the Rose Bowl and then off to WWII. The author gives a short blurb on each team member's service experiances and how they came through the war - or didn't. It looks like a good read!
Cornell beat Princeton over the weekend. That's 2 wins; see that THE Ohio State beat Minnesota bad. Tulsa got a nice win over Notre Dame; had a chance to watch a replay on EuroSports.
