embedded eDrawings viewer in SWX Explorer 2007

Does anyone else find the lack of view manipulation tools in the embedded eDrawings viewer in SolidWorks Explorer 2007 very frustrating. Its silly, if you ask me to hide the toolbars that provide basic functionality. I know that you can right click to get some functionality and that having the toolbars hidden provides more graphical area, but it at least would be nice if the users had a choice, via somehing like a flyout. Unless, I am missing something obvious in the new interface, would everyone please join me in making an enhancement request? This to me seems more like a regression. I know I will be answering these questions for many of our users here in the months to come and don't look forward to telling them this is the new and improved embedded viewer.

Does you middle mouse button not work?
My toolbars come up automatically for me? Have you tried opening it turning the TB on and closing the file?

Oh N/M... I was in just edrawings...

The SW explorer is the new version of the Stand alone client and SW explorer. SO not sure why it was left off... but I don't recall the client having those toolbars... If they did then yes it would be a regression. If not, then it would be a ER. If its a regression and it effects you then you have to turn that into your VAR not as an ER.

Are you talking about the standalone eDrawings program, or the embedded viewer in SolidWorks Explorer (2007)? I have no problem with the standalone eDrawings program. Its my embedded viewer within SolidWorks Explorer that does not show the toolbar. Whats a pain is things like zooming in on a drawing that you are looking at and then not having a home button to click on the toolbar to return to the drawing zoomed to fit. I realize you can get here by right click, pick view, then pick home, but it is much more familiar to users here to just click the home button, especially our non-technical users. Ditto for the print functionality. I know I will be answering this many times in the coming months...

The client in 2006 definitely had the toolbars, so according to your definition it is a regression. Just seems that no-one really cares... I will jump up and down with SolidWorks corp and my VAR and see if anything happens.

My VAR responded by saying they have another customer who noticed the same issue and its already been mentioned to SolidWorks. SolidWorks response was to submit an enhancement request, which stinks b/c its really a regression/bug. That means it won't get the priority that it should have. I will submit an enhancement request in the meantime.
