Sorry I'm pretty new at this forum posting so bear with me.
I am currently modeling an existing slab system. There are columns spaced at roughly 24 feet on center and a couple Walls supporting the elevated slab.
My questions:
1). Am I required to model the entire building in RISA Floor or can I model just the area of interest. (240 ft. by 264 ft. as apposed to the area of interest of 48 ft by 48 ft.)
2). how do i go about making sure that the slab is fixed at the supports rather than being pinned or does the program automatically set the fixity?
If someone has knowledge on this topic or know of a reference they can direct me to it would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
