Hi, dear

I'm Newbie on MS Project.
I need to create a Collumn similar to Duration Collumn but this collumn needs to maintain fixed values, that is, even when I change the values on Duration Collumn or Actual Duration Collumn this Collumn doesn't change values.
Is it possible?
How can I get it?

Thank you very much.

What is the content that you want in this new column? I'm a little confused as to what value you are trying to hold constant. "Work" is a function of the number of man-hours involved in a task and will stay constant if the task is "fixed work", no matter what the duration is. Or, are you looking for a "Baseline Duration", which would give you a comparison of the new duration to what was originally planned?

Hi,naygoo

I'm reading articles about baseline duration and I think I'll solve the problem. I need to maintain the original value (planned).
Could you tell me where I can get good articles about MS Project.

Thank you very much

I'm not sure where else to find articles about MS Project. Personally, I use this forum when I need to, but most of my questions I solve using a book called "Special Edition Using Microsoft Office Project 2003", by Tim Pyron (Que Publishing). Good luck!
