The owners mechanical engineer made a comment on my drawings that I needed dry pendents on my antifreeze system in lieu of standard pendents.
This is a small antifreeze system above a ventilated metal ceiling covering a loading dock.
The pendents are on return bends for adjustment purposes.
Before I explain to him how the antifreeze will protect the drop and sprinkler,(Just like it is protecting the rest of the piping above the ceiling) and utilizing a dry pendent won't make a difference, I wanted to make sure there isn't something I am missing here.
Thanks
