Is there any setting to make the scale of the views when it is placed on a sheet using the wizard. Every time a new view is placed, the scale changes depending on the sheet size.

Thanks

Not through the wizard, but in the Ribbon Bar after the wizard dialogue closes and just before you click to place the view(s) on the drawing.

The second icon from the left, excluding the Back button, sets the view scale to one previously placed. This is to match up any subsequent view's scales (that aren't projected views) with the scale already on the sheet.

Next to that is the scale pull-down menu. This will default to a value to make the view(s) fill the sheet.

Thanks scott,

Is there a default setting to place the drawing in 1:1 scale without changing the ribbon bar after the wizard.

Thanking you once again

Sadly, no. That would be nice.

Personally, I put in a request versions ago to define the sheet scale. This property could then be automatically populated on each sheet rather than having to type it manually in your title block (if it exists there). It could also be the default scale that new views are inserted at, rather than "scale-to-fit."

I'm still waiting for this request.
