DPG Accelerators being banned by REACH

Hi someone have news on the DPG Accerators (Guanides) being banned by the European Reach ?

Any information on alternatives, dates would be highly apreciated

As far as I know, REACH does not seek to ban substances just register them after protracted and expensive testing.

I have not heard anything about DPG being banned.
 
Thanks, seems that DPG is on the pre-registration list in REACH, just for in case, you know any replacement of this accelerator ?

 
Pre-registration is just a means for chemical manufacturers to cover themselves. Chemicals have to be pre-registered for their use to continue after the deadline. Very few chemicals have been fully registered at the moment. Even competitors making the same chemical are working together to have pre-registered chemicals tested and will make a joint application for registration. This is because of the great costs involved.

I would not worry about finding a replacement for DPG for at least another 4 or 5 years. However, as far as replacements go, I suggest something like TMTD or DOTG.
