Doubt regarding Special Joint

I have a model wher at the midpoint I have assigned some special joints. I am doing linear time history analysis. Now those special joints are just placed at the middle. Neither they are connected nor they are assigned any loads. How etabs is calculating displacement acceleration on those joints?
