Does a model/assembly know if a drawing of it exists.

I would like to add a column in my BOM that states wether or not a drawing exists of the part itemized in the BOM. It can be either a Y/N or the actual drawing file name. Does anyone know how or even if I can do this?

About the only way I know to pull this off is to use the "where used" capability of SWX Explorer. It is a manual method, but it works.

The PDMWorks reporting function can do that, but I'm not aware of a way to do it in SolidWorks directly.

There must be a way, in pack & go there is a check box for selecting drawings, it can do this outside of PDMworks. It may be some kind of api but it would be sweet if I could add it to the BOM without rheems of programming.

Unless I misunderstand, Pack & Go will only select drawings that are in the same folder as the part/assembly and have the same name.

I don't belive that the files need to be in the same directories, it is also possible that models with drawings associated to them will not be selected if they are not in the assembly selected for pack & go.
