Dispensing Epoxy

I need help/info./opinions regarding dispensing epoxy onto steel. Specifically, I have trouble breaking the bead once the path is complete. This requires me to make extra moves with my robot to break the "string" of epoxy. I have of "suckback" valves, but am unfamiliar with them.

Any help appreciated.
