Hi all, I have searched around for this solution but couldn't find anyone that even had this problem in WF5.
I have created a part and need to recreate a drawing using 3d annotations. I have 6 cross sections that need to be shown and I have created different layers and views for all 6. I do the normal "edit->RMB dimension->Create Driving Dimension AE" for all the dimensions available but to mimic the drawing, additional dimensions must be made. I have tried two things here: "insert->dimension" as well as "annotation feature->Driven dimension" and both seem to work in the part file and show up just like the other dimensions. The issue occurs when I go to make a drawing of this part and I insert the different views/cross sections. I noticed that in order for the dimensions to stay black, I need to be in that specific cross section view in the part file. If, in the part file, I switch views, all of the dimensions in the drawing cross sections turn purple (lost relationship) except for the original "edit->RMB dimension->Create Driving Dimension AE" dimensions. I am not sure if this is in the actual dimensioning or the way my cross sections are created but after a while of tinkering with it, I have had no luck in fixing this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
