Hi All,
I am new to the forum so apologies if his question has been asked previously.
I have a question RE the detailing requirements for precast walls in a bulding that falls within earthquake design category 1.
As EDC1 is essentially a deemed to comply method of calculating loads and is not dependant on the structure's ductility, would it be reasonable to adopt the detailing requirements associated with a mu of 1?
