Designing Rectangular Coil Compression Springs (Magazine Springs)

I find myself in need of design assistance for rectangular coil compression springs (magazine springs). Unfortunately, I've not found one capable AND INTERESTED in small prototype quantities. So, while companies like Lee Spring, Springfield Spring, Axcess Spring, and others advertise the capabilities, they are not interested in prototype work. Where can a small business go for prototype design and small quantity manufacturing of rectangular coil compression springs (magazine springs)? US Companies only.

It can be tough to get big companies interested in prototype quantities. In addition to spring winding companies, look for mfg'rs advertising wire forming, and smaller companies that don't publish big adds in Thomas Register...

Did you try Draco in Houston, R. C. Springs in IL, and Mid West Springs?

R.C. Springs and Mid West Springs both declined based on a lack of design expertise. Draco is one I haven't come across before.
