Design of Sluice Gates for Hydropower Project

I am designing sluice gates for a small low head but large discharge hydropower project. I want to compare the provision of one or two gates with the overflow weir for the 100 yr flood.
can anyone give me the link for design example or suggesion how to design these sluice gates for this discharge.
