Hi All,

Is there an easy way to delete relationships in trad assembly.
It's a tad frustrating to select the relationship, then re-select before being allowed to delete.
I've used the Relationship Assistant to block delete relationships, but this seems overkill.

Using ST2 trad assembly.

Select the relationship in the pathfinder then hit the DELETE key.
You can also multi-select with CTL or SHIFT, and then hit the delete key.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

RMB on the relation and then select Delete should also work

I suppose it would be possible to write a macro that would delete all relationships from a selected part or parts.
Then it would just be select the parts, click the button to delete all relationships.
I tried to write one that deleted all failed relationships but couldn't get it to work.

BC,

have look into the 'ARelDoctor' within the ...\Custom folder
of SE to see how it can be done. Maybe it just does what you
want

Thanks guys.

It's always the simple things that trip us.

Hi Don,
I'd forgotten about ARelDoctor.
It doesn't actually delete any constraints, but I might get some clue from how it works.
What it does is suppress relationships until there are no more failures.
