Hi All,
I had to design a supporting system for 3m tall decorating clinker brick wall. It will be resting on an UPE section, which has brackets mounted at 2m c/c. I wonder what the deflection tolerance for such a brick wall may be.
I'M afraid of diagonal cracks in the brick wall due to deflection of the UPE section.
What might be the proper deflection criteria to avoid cracking of the brick wall?
(We might also consider the loading process alongisde with the building of the wall).
Thanks in advance.
