Dear All,
Can anyone please tell me the relation ship of thickness and deflection of a rubber material. When i try to use spring rate formula and relate the thickness and deflection it looks like directly proportional but logically it shouldnt be like that right? Requesting all to give clarification on this.

Thicker rubber will behave like a longer spring. Making a spring longer lowers the spring rate.
