I'm researching a variety of aspects about the De Havilland Dash 8 100 series and have had trouble locating the following information
1)certified g loading
2)A decent description of the undercarriage, including diagram or photo
3)Its structure ie frame/monocoque, spars, ribs
4)environmental control systems
If anyone could fill me in with this info it would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you need a buddy at an air operator who has the Parts Catalog, Flight Manual, and Maintenance Manual beside his desk. Sorry, I don't know anybody at a DHC-8 operator, but you might find some companies to contact by looking at who operates DHC-8's. Calling cold won't work, though.
Do you have a modification project in mind? If so, make a pitch to an operator to develop the project together. If you make a deal, they might make all the data available (including the freedom to measure actual airplanes).
DeHavilland (oops, "Bombardier&quot has differing attitudes toward different aircraft. They're getting more and more comfortable with farming out information of the Beaver and even the Twin Otter, because they aren't in production any more. You can go to their library and, for a fee, read all the engineering data you can absorb. Since the DHC-8 is still in production, I doubt you would have this liberty.

The FAA web site contains the Type Certificate Data Sheet for this airplane (NM13). It contains the FAR minimum required G load capabiltiy.

Many be I don't understand the question, but loads are normally just calculated from the appropriate part of 14 CFR or other predecessor regulations. The execption being landing loads which are normally arrived at by test.

I work in Engineering at deH and all the info you are looking for is in the public domain in one form or another so there is no difficulty disclosing this descriptive material to you (Maintenance Manuals, sales brochures, TCDS, publicity material and so on).
