Cutting 4" Acrylic

Does anyone have any settings, tips or experience cutting 4" thick acrylic sheet? Is it even possible?

Hi,
I dont know much about it. The only thing that comes to mind is the kerf problem you would have, at least on a laser. If you cut a six inch square the top would be six, but the bottom would be much smaller. I dont think a laser is the way to go on this one.
