Hello.
I am preparing a proposal for construction of an API oil water separator for a 70MW heavy fuel oil power plant in Africa. I am not an expert in this area. Please assist me to answer two questions:
1. How much would it cost to build the API separator sufficient for a 70MW HFO power plant? I have estimated the size at 60-70m3 and it should be below the surface and largely made of concrete with coalescing plate.
2. Is the 60-70m3 estimate too large or small? I do not have data on the quantities of oily water expected, but i know that the amount of oil/sludge separated by an existing separator is about 20-30m3
