Hi,
Is there a way of plotting applied loads, i.e. a pressure as a contour in FEMAP? Let's say I have a pressure distribution (applied load) I want to view in coloured levels.

Hello!,
Yes, of course, use command "Model, Output, From Load... ", it creates new output vectors based on loads in the active load set. You can use this command to convert your load data to output data so that you can produce contour or other post-processing displays.

When you pick this command, FEMAP displays a dialog box that lets you to choose the type of load to convert.

After you make a selection and press OK, you will see the standard entity selection dialog box. You can limit the output that will be created to some portion of your model, or select your entire model. In most cases, selecting the entire model is most appropriate.

When you convert pressure data, up to six vectors will be created, one for each element face where pressures are located. For plate elements, which only have pressures on one face, there will only be one vector.

Best regards,
Blas.
