Hi,

I investigated a site with uncontrolled storage of Boric Acid tailings where contaminated the groundwater.

My recommentations for remadiation would be to remove the tailings to the closeby tailing dam, strip the contaminated soil layer down to the bedrock which is about 1-1.5m thick and replace it with clean soil. The bedrock is pervious limestone in which groundwater flows.

Any comments on above recommentation and/or other recommendations are highly appreciated.

Regards,

My best recommendation would be to contact a specialist geo-environmentalist company with experience with groundwater pollution issues.
