Someone used a drawing view with certain faces shown in a specific color to indicate a masked surface in the powder coating process (e.g. the part is mostly grey and a couple of faces are green). I've never seen that done, and I know it isn't best practice, as someone could have a B&W printer, colorblindness, etc, but is there a standard violated by using color as an indicator? There are other ways to do it, which I explained, but I don't have any hard evidence and they aren't taking me at my word.
