What "grade" of boron is used in polyethylene sheets, i.e. Boron-6, Boron-10, etc.? Why is it at low levels (1-5%)? Can you explain the mechanism? For instance, when greater protection is required a thicker sheet of polyethylene is used. Why isn't more Boron added? Is it due to saturation? Is it because a thicker sheet will take more time to corrode? Thanks.
