What would the most suitable fluid be to surround a HLW waste container in a borehole under conditions of high pressure and temperature, Circa 200degC & 1000bar, in order to enable retrieval for inspection every few years ?<br>
The fluid must be able to transmit hydraulic pressure and maintain a non-newtonian rheology during irradiation.

looks like one of the thermal fluids available. i do not know if there is one for that condition.
