This is one to keep your eye on. TVA is accelerating the annual drawdown so they can access and assess the problem area, but the potential for a nudlear event scenario should not be ignored. Hopefully nothing will come of this other than a major dam repair, removal, or permanent decrease in energy potential and flood control. It is possible that the earthquake in Virginia in 2011 influenced the local geologic structure here too.. It will be interesting to see the fallout.
