Hi everyone,
Any help would be good, please see below
Part description:
Top PArt:
- length 30mm X width 18mm X thickness 1mm
- adhesive surface is flat, but the part is slightly curved like a banana.
- coreside of part is put through NCVM. NCVM material would be Sn.
- PMMA
Bottom part:
- similar shape, just slightly smaller than top part.
- PC/ABS
We plan to use 3M adhesive 467M VHB series to bond these 2 piece together. The adhesive would be applied on the Top part NCVM area and bonded together with the PC/ABS part.
Questions:
1) Will these adhesive eat out the NCVM layer?
2) any reliability test for adhesive performance that we should keep an eye on.
3) Would there be special paint primers that could protect the NCVM layer and improve adhesive performance of the 3M tape.
4) The NCVM layer will be sprayed with top coat of UV ink. Would this affect adhesive performance?
thanks.
