I have a SS vessel that has a SS and a CS skirt. Overall skirt is 12'-2" and has a 3'-2" SS portion and 9'-0" CS portion. How do I model this in Compress?

Thanks for the help

COMPRESS allows you to add multiple skirt "courses" (similar to shell courses).

So, select the Support menu, select "Support Skirt" component (the "Intermediate Skirt" should not be used, this skirt is used ONLY between separate pressure chambers), and specify the SS material.

Repeat this step again but specify the CS material.

Repeat as many times as needed. Attach the base ring to the bottommost skirt course.

Each skirt course can have different material, temperatures, diameters, taper, etc.
