Bearing Selection for bridge crane end trucks

My Capstone Design team is currently tasked with designing a bridge crane that will help load and unload plates of material onto a waterjet. I am currently doing the analysis for the bearing selection for the end trucks that drive on the runway beam and will carry the bridge beam with the trolley and hoist. When doing the calculations for the bearing selection you need the radial load and the thrust load that the axle will experience. I am assuming that the radial load will be the downward load that the axle will experience from the weight of the bridge beam, the trolley, and the applied load. But I am confused on how to find the thrust load that the axle will experience. Will it just be a percentage of the radial load or is it something altogether different? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Side thrust is developed when the hoist lines are not perpendicular.That is never supposed to happen but it does.
If for some reason the bridge becomes slightly out of alignment side thrust may be developed. That is never supposed to happen but it does.
You have the same issues to s lessor degree with the trolley.
