Hello Dears,

I have two short questions that I wish you help me with.

1. I've got model of big frame (for water tank, filter, pipes, etc...). In that assembly I had to place pump subassembly in smaller frame, which lies on the HEBs of bigger frame. How to model that kind of structure? Should I connect them somehow in vertical direction? Will it be enough if I just offset the beams for the proper distances of their centers of gravity?

2. In that frame I've got some elements connected to channel sections, HEBs etc, but some of less heavy elements I've got connected to surface. How should I model that in STAAD for proper results?

Regards :)
