In my company I am often asked to take Autocad drawing of the cross section of extrusion profiles and convert them into library features for Solidowkrs weldments.
The process I use is to Copy/Paste the drawing into a sketch then go through each of the lines and click relationships such as horizontal and vertical and also make tangent. I then dimension all the lines.
Is there a quicker way to do this? A button I can press that will make all the relationships (add a verticle relationship to all the verticle lines etc) and also all the dimensions (as all the lines are already in the correct position)
Thanks in advance, Chris.
