Greetings,

Is it possible to assign an arbitrary weight to a part? Take for instance a gearbox. I have the outside dimensions, and the overall weight. I don't want to apply an artificial material to it, I just want to specify a total weight for the part.

Any ideas?

Mike,

Thanks for the info, however this sequence requires an advanced assemblies license, which we do not have.

I guess I will have to assign a new material to the part?

Change the part density to give you the required weight.
