In the "US Customary Units" section, the 3rd definition for "psi" reads:

[Pe + 10] for wind .... when Pe is greater than 15psf, but "psi" need not exceed 2.5.

If Pe is greater than 15, then the summation is greater than 25. So we're going to reset 25 to 2.5 ? Perhaps there is a divisor missing from this equation, maybe 10 or 12 ?

It looks like a divisor is missing, and probably around 20 or 21 or so, comparing values to the metric versions above.

Can we internally coat (shell and roof) an API650 tank that has frangible joint?

Hassan53 - this should be another thread to avoid confusion, but, yes you can internally coat without affecting the frangibility of the joint. The underside laps of the cone roof plates should be welded prior to painting - this is often an expensive operation.

Hi,

I've also a problem with App V, especially with formula V.8.1.3.

If the value of Ps=W+.4Pe and greater then Pe (i.e. Pe=0.5kPa), do you use ? of condition 1 of V.8.1?
