We are interested in air classifiers. Units referred to as "aspirators" are usually designed to take dust and fines out of larger particles. They often rely on turbulance to stir the material and the waste material is channeled through a fan. This is not the right approach for us. We want to separate the fractions of the material by air resistance/density, want to keep all the fractions, and don't want them damaged or wet. Since we are "separating", not "cleaning", turbulance tends to upset the separation, not help it. Even some of the "elutriators" I've looked at rely far too much on impact for separation, and we don't want the damage. Primarily we are interested in particles that are 5-10 mm diameter with a general bulk density of about 45 lbs/cu ft. Any leads for equipment, standards, approaches/concepts, methods, etc. appreciated
