I have a doubt about the ACS880-37 ABB drive. Is this drive an Active Front End?

It's the -37 that makes it a low harmonic AFE drive. It is NOT a line regenerative version though, that would be the -17 variant.

Did you look at the link? There's a simple schematic of the front end showing the input converter. Yes, the drive has an AFE.

So, the "-37" means that is an AFE?
I think that's what I said. But again, there are two variants of AFE; one that allows line regeneration and one that just corrects for harmonics. This is the harmonic correction variant.
