abrasive textured surface finnish

I am looking to apply an abrasive textured surface to a run of many noryl, or similar ridged plastic, components. I have been looking into both applying the texture to the mold and replicating that when forming the components and also the possibility of spoiling the surface after the component has been formed. If any one has any good ideas of a viable process that may be used at either of the stage of production Iwould be glad to hear from you.
