Can anyone tell me or provide me some literature for structural design of soak piTs? How to calculate minimum block wall thickness at base? I've to design a soak pit of 3.2 m diameter which is 6m deep.

How did you arrive at the size of the soak pit? What type of soil occurs naturally in the area? What type of fill are you using inside the soak pit? What is the rate of discharge into the soak pit?

And, just what is a soak pit? I have several definitions which I’ll bet aren’t what you are thinking of, given your question. We can’t see it from here, so you have to explain your problem in enough detail so that other engineers know what you are talking about, if you want some meaningful discussion.
