Hi,

Can anyone recommend a two pin wire-to-wire connector for 600V DC and 400 mA?
I need something thats the opposite of what is desired. The connector needs to disconnect relatively easily with little effort.
While the connector needs to stay together while shipping, it needs to come apart when you pull on the wire (pull on the wire since access to the connector itself is not possible).
Something along the lines of this but much cheaper,

Thanks,
Mike

Pulling on wires to disconnect is a REAL BAD idea. Connector pin terminations are not generally designed to handle that kind of pulling. And what happens when you do pull the wires out without the connector? Fixing that would be a big problem.

Why not have another connector that is accessible?

There are connectors called "Lanyard Release" where one pulls on a separate cord and the connector falls out. Problem is - they are not cheap.
