Primary side termination to a 44kV-480/277V 2500kVA oil filled transformer.
Since it is such a relatively small transformer, I am concerned that the tank will not be strong enough to support a bottom entry "pothead", which is required due to the configuration of the existing 44kV SWGR that will feed it. Two different transformer manufacturers suggested a Pfisterer Bushing and wanted to be sure I was okay with them. I've not used one before to know one way or the other, or even know of other options for a side mount bushing that wouldn't be very heavy.
Suggestions?
Thanks
