3 mil thick PC based optical quality window

I have to make an optical quality "window" which is about 3 mils (75 microns) thick. It should also have parallel faces. The PC will be dyed (with a very expensive dye 50 dollars per gram) so I do not have a huge amount of starting material to play with. The techniques I have immediately available to me are twin screw extrusion and injection molding. The former can make thin enough samples but their optical qualities are poor and require hot pressing between glass plates.
Can anyone help me with such a problem by either making it for me (for a fee) or by giving advice on how to polish and reduce in width a sample?
Thanks

Dr. Steve,

I think we might be able to help you with you project. We have both injection mold and extrusion capabilities. Specializing in optical parts. Please contact me and we can discuss further your require nets and and our capabilities.

Several companies can provide films of that thickness. But absolutely none in the entire world can provide it with the dye I require also in it. I can provide a small (5g or less) of "popcorn" dyed polycarbonate, but this often will not work with standard equipment as it is too light. In addition to all of this I can make films myself, but not to the optical quality required.

Yes we would need more material for the extrusion process. We also do compression molding which might help depending on the optical quality required. We has have diamond turning capabilities in house. Which are CNC machine which work to mils.

Thanx,
Chris
