Hi,
I'm EU based engineer and I am preparing some kind of algorithm to specify tank size based on EN and ASME standards.
For torispherical heads most of manufacturers in Europe follow DIN28011 and DIN28013 standards to select proper dished heads to their calculations basing on EN13445-3.
I was looking for similar sizing charts like these DINs. Are there any in US that producers follow to manufacture tank heads?
I've seen several producers refer to ASME code. However what I found in ASME BPVC-VIII-1 is just general ratios for knuckle radius etc., but I havent seen there anything like standard size charts and most of producers I've seen have randomly specified nominal thicknesses and diameters- which is slightly painful.
Can anyone advise?
