    Autoclave curing of rubber rolls

Can anyone recommend a good source for information on autoclave steam curing of rolls of calendered rubber sheeting? I'm mostly interested in trouble shooting of defects such as blisters, voids, etc. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Autoclave wrap curing liner

I'm looking for alternative options for wrap curing rubber sheeting in the autoclave. I currently use Nylon fabric but we often only get 2-3 cures out of it before we have to dispose. I'm after something more resilient so that we can get a longer life from our liners.

    SBR Banbury Mixing

Thanks Graham. I have tried a similar cycle previously but not with this higher dump temperature. The highest temperature I went to previously was 150 degrees C. I was concerned about thermal degradation of the SBR. But I will certainly try going to 165 and assess the effects on the mechanical...

    SBR Banbury Mixing

I'm mixing a very basic SBR compound on our 270 liter Banbury mixer. The compound has carbon black, the standard small powders, some synthetic resin for tack and no oil. It really is a basic formulation. But I'm having an issue with the compound discharging from the mixer in pieces rather than...

    NR Surface Finish

Can anyone point me in the right direction for achieving a smooth, low friction and semi-glossy finish on a natural rubber moulded product? The mould has been chrome-plated but it's still not giving me the required finish. The compound formulation can be changed if necessary. I've already tried...
