I am looking for a program that will automatically generate different tank nozzles based on input provided through say a "wizard" type of interface.
About 10 years ago I used a dos based program called ATAS (I think that was the name). This program would set up the nozzle node and element...
forget the E,.35, .7 and concrete. Put the masonry wall in as required (with appropriate prop) and change it to lateral. In Ram Frame set up frame numbers and you will be able to see the load distribution.
if I do the stress analysis and the piping was for say refrigerated or cryogenic lines. The 31.3 provides materials and stresses down to -425. The 31.5 is similiar. So can I use either code or is there certain stipulations requiring one over the other
I wanted to model some ATS slip type expansion joints. I used to make two runs: the first for the actual displacement and the second to include the axial stiffness. Is the still the proper technique?
