Are there regulations that require harmonic wave dampers or filters to be used with high power industrial lasers (6kw)? I would like to buy one and am wondering if the manufacture is responsilbe for some sort of countermeasure or if i am.

What about at high wattages? say 5kw or 6kw are there differences in the benefits of RF and DC? I assume from the power stand point the DC is still better and usually with 5 or 6 no one needs to control the power down to 10% of teh 5 or 6. I would guess though gas consumption becomes a problem.

Ok thank you for the information. I am looking for low HAZ and no burs and little dross. For the next question 4kw vs 6kw on 25-32 mm. Are the cost offsetable?
