    Thanks for the information. We are using the HP Design Jet 1050C also. Color printing everything when you don't need to can get expensive... Currently the old KIP America 2900 prints black and white at very high speeds, and it is also a scanner. We would be looking at replacing that.

    I just took over as IT support mgr for an engineering firm. They currently have an old KIP America 4900 printer that when it works, prints very fast. But, it seems that the design of the plastic gears tends to have it down every couple months for repairs.... Any suggestions on good, fast...
