    Locating- GDT

    On the topic of 'locating' what are the three broad categories? I think it is irregular, concentric, and plane. I could be wrong. It is a hw question that i can't seem to find in the book or online. thanks

    grinding wheel question

    Hi all, I am looking to find how long it takes a grinding wheel to tavel 10'' along a workpiece. The grinding wheel revolves at 60 fpm. My grinding wheel is 16'' in OD and 1'' wide. The workpiece diameter is 3''. feed is 1/4'' per revolution. I cannot seem to find the correct equation. thanks

    Reamer question

    Hi all, If a reamer cuts oversize and leaves behind a bellmouthed shape at beginning of the hole. What is my problem? Do i need another reamer or is it the alignement of the work piece with the tool? thanks

    Wilson Hardness Tester

    Hi, Has anyone ever used a wilson hardness tester. My model is a JS. You have to set the minor and major loads before finding your result. The major load is set by counter weights that weight 15kg's and there are max 3 of them. The apparatus is old. Thanks,
