1- when we start a new project, How can we set page size? I mean size of page that we are drawing
2-Is there any command like AutoCad offset in microstation?

I am going to model a 3D soil nail wall as 2D plane strain and wondering to know what modification I should make in nail's "E,A,...." and coefficient factor between soil and nail to equivalent 3D problem to 2D.

I am modelling soil nailing wall system in ABAQUS. My main problem is that I am interested to consider soil as 2D shell element and model nails as wire. Problem here is that I can not define any interaction between wire and soil (shell 2d). How I can solve this problem?
