We are using EPDM to generate part numbers for new files......
But, what if we have a file which was not created in using EPDM and now want to put it into the vault with the next available number, can this be done?
We are in process of implementing EPDM, I have a few questions...
1. Put all files in the vault, even if they don't require revision control, so all job files are all in one place? Is this a good idea, or just vault what needs to be revision controled?
2. Folder structure; our current...
Would you revision control your purchased parts by putting them into a vault folder? Or would you not and just put them into a folder designated as a "library"?
Also, if you put your purchased parts into the vault, do you loose the drag/drop feature of "library" parts?
